Route & Topographic Surveying New Mexico, Texas and other states

As part of our Surveying Division, Pettigrew & Associates has performed numerous topographic surveys for engineering design utilizing Real Time Kinematic (RTK) GPS methods and conventional total station equipment. We have the capability of providing attribute data for surveyed features. Utilizing specific feature coding, we are able to adapt easily to a multitude of client specifications and standards.

The scope of topographic surveys ranges from utility corridors, roadways, and railroads, to drainage structures and civil site projects.

We collect field data for the preparation of ACAD and TIN files, which requires a high degree of accuracy and is used for planimetric feature depiction, triangulation, cross section extraction, and volume calculations. The drawings are produced to client specific standards or have typically been created to match Federal CADD Standards for Drafting and plan development.

Our route surveys have covered thousands of miles typically combining our conventional and GPS survey and often utilizing remote sensing such as aerial photogrammetry and LiDAR in order to provide a comprehensive and cost effective project. The Pettigrew & Associates team has extensive experience and capacity through strategic teaming partners to provide all types of aerial surveys using the latest in digital technology.

We have worked extensively with route & topographic surveying clients in Midland TX, Hobbs NM, Carlsbad NM, Artesia NM, Roswell NM and other surrounding communities
