ROLE: The Technical Resource Assistant will perform a variety of general administrative and clerical functions. This requires to work intuitively to support the completion of the department’s goals and objectives in a professionally and culturally appropriate manner as directed. The ideal candidate must have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills. Must possess the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities and to work independently on projects from conception to completion while working under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities. The successful candidate will meet or exceed the minimum qualifications defined below

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  1. Requires excellent telephone etiquette.
  2. Project coordination (scheduling).
  3. Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  4. Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure in a professional manner and manage multiple
    high-intensity projects/tasks simultaneously.
  5. Manage data, develop correspondence or spreadsheets, prepare templates, and file all
    necessary documentation.
  6. Types efficiently and accurately and possesses a high competency in Microsoft Office 2013
    Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  7. Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks
    seamlessly with exceptional attention to detail.
  8. Strong level written and verbal communication skills.
  9. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external
    customers, including staff.
  10. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  11. Demonstrate proactive approaches to problem-solving, self-motivation, and initiative focus.
  12. Ability to anticipate tasks, situations and to carry out responsibilities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE and TRAINING: 

  1. High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, college degree in Business Administration or Technical Degree preferred but not required. 
  2. 3-5 years of work experience in an office setting.
