Hobbs, NM – November 30, 2015 – Pettigrew & Associates, P.A. recently celebrated their 50th Anniversary.
In honor of this milestone the staff pledged an additional 50 hours of community service above and beyond the company’s annual philanthropic contributions. Coinciding with the firm’s commitment to “engineering better communities”, the staff at Pettigrew & Associates reached their goal by November 30th, and has no plans to stop.
“I’m proud to say that our team came together and exceeded our goal one month ahead of our timeline,” says Pettigrew & Associates CEO, Debra Hicks PE/PSI. “We have always been proud of our staff’s individual commitment to the community, but we challenged them to do more, and they gladly accepted.”
The employees were challenged to complete their community service hours by going above and beyond with “feet on the street” efforts. These hours are in addition to corporate financial contributions or events the employees normally serve. The staff was able to reach their goal volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, the Boys & Girls Club and by donating time and/or items to local charities. The staff logged 65 hours as of November 30, 2015.
