Project Description
NMJC Traffic Study
In 2000, PETTIGREW & ASSOCIATES prepared a Traffic Study for New Mexico Junior College. The purpose of the study was to determine existing vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow patterns, evaluate the level of service, analyze facility usage and provide recommendations for improved service and future growth. The peak flow for NMJC was 308 vehicles per hour.
The intersection analysis of the NMJC Entrance was processed through a computerized traffic modeler for both one way and two-way traffic. The study also included a signal warrant analysis for the intersection of Industrial and Millen Drive.
